CHARLOTTE – Marcus Baugh and Cole Hunt, a pair of tight ends who recently played in the Alliance of American Football, have signed one-year contracts with the Panthers.

Baugh was among the AAF’s leading receiving tight ends, catching 13 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder played in 52 games at Ohio State, catching 55 passes for 607 yards and eight touchdowns. Baugh was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Raiders following the 2018 draft.

Hunt is 6-foot-7, 255-pounder who signed with the Chargers after going undrafted in 2018 but was waived in final roster cutdown and then joined the AAF ranks before the league folded. He played his final two college seasons at Texas Christian and his first two at Rice, totaling 25 receptions for 242 yards.
