Key stat: Started 48 of 52 career games, including nine starts at right tackle as a true freshman in 2015. One of only 10 freshmen to start at offensive tackle for the Sooners. Moved over to right guard after the 2016 opener against Houston. Did not give up a sack in 14 starts as a senior, according to Oklahoma.
Honors: Named AP second-team All-American and first-team All-Big 12 selection this past year. One of three tabbed as Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year by the coaches.
More: Was awarded this year’s Don Key award, as voted on by the Sooners’ coaching staff, the highest honor an OU football player can receive. It’s given to the player who best exemplifies on-the-field and classroom achievement. Former Packers fullback Aaron Ripkowski won the award in 2014.
