With Foles listed as doubtful for Sunday night's game in Green Bay after being unable to practice all week, Bray could once again serve as the Bears' No. 2 quarterback—this time behind Trubisky, who will make his first start since Week 3 in Atlanta.

Since signing with the Bears in 2018, Bray has split time between the active roster and practice squad. He previously spent his first five NFL seasons as a backup with the Chiefs, where he worked with Bears coach Matt Nagy. Bray appeared in one regular-season game with Kansas City, failing to complete his only pass attempt in the Chiefs' 2017 season finale. He spent the 2015 and 2016 seasons on injured reserve.
