GREEN BAY – David Bakhtiari has been voted second-team All-Pro, as determined by a vote of 50 media members of the Associated Press. It’s the fourth consecutive year the Packers’ left tackle has received recognition on the team.

Regarded as one of the NFL’s best tackles, Bakhtiari was previously voted first-team All-Pro for the first time last season after receiving second-team recognition in both 2016 and ’17.

In 2019, Bakhtiari played in all 16 regular-season games for the second consecutive year and fifth time in his seven NFL seasons. Last month, Bakhtiari was voted to the Pro Bowl for the first time upon initial balloting. He made his only previous Pro Bowl appearance as a first alternate in 2016.

Bakhtiari, whose 1,075 snaps played this year were second only to right guard Billy Turner’s 1,076 on offense, is only the second offensive tackle in team history (Forrest Gregg; 1959-60, 1962-67) to earn AP All-Pro recognition in consecutive seasons.

Bakhtiari was the Packers’ only representative.
