» Hilton initially suffered a calf injury during a non-contact portion of practice on Oct. 30, causing him to miss the Colts’ next three games against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars. He was able to return to play a limited role last Thursday night against the Houston Texans, playing 25 offensive snaps and catching three passes for 18 yards, but general manager Chris Ballard announced Nov. 28 that Hilton suffered a setback with his calf during practice and was now considered week-to-week, causing him to miss last Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans. Look for Zach Pascal, Marcus Johnson, Ashton Dulin, Chad Williams and, depending on his injury status, Parris Campbell, to get added snaps at wide receiver Sunday against the Buccaneers; the team also has Malik Henry on its practice squad if needed.

» Moore II suffered an ankle injury during the third quarter of last Sunday’s matchup against the Tennessee Titans; he was initially ruled questionable to return, but did not end up getting back on the field; he did not participate in practice this week on Wednesday or Thursday. With Moore II out Sunday against the Buccaneers, look for Marvell Tell III, Quincy Wilson and, depending on his injury status, Rock Ya-Sin, to get added snaps at cornerback opposite starter Pierre Desir, while safety Rolan Milligan has also played snaps at nickel cornerback. The Colts also have two cornerbacks — Picasso Nelson Jr. and Jackson Porter — on their practice squad, if needed.

» Vinatieri reported feeling pain in his left, non-kicking knee prior to last Sunday’s matchup against the Tennessee Titans, which did not improve by Wednesday’s first practice of the week; he was listed on the team’s injury report Wednesday for the first time all year as a limited participant, and did not participate on Thursday. The team on Wednesday claimed rookie kicker Chase McLaughlin off waivers from the San Francisco 49ers just in case Vinatieri wasn’t able to play Sunday against the Buccaneers; in seven games played this season between the Los Angeles Chargers and 49ers, McLaughlin has converted 13-of-17 (76.5 percent) of his field goal attempts, and has hit all 15 of his extra-point tries.
