A total of 32 compensatory selections were awarded to 17 different clubs. Only 34 total comp picks are distributed across the league. That is normally the maximum total, which matches the number of teams in the NFL.

This year, under a 2020 resolution in the new Collective Bargaining Agreement, an additional five special compensatory selections were awarded to the 49ers (two), Rams (one), Ravens (one) and Saints (one) as part of an initiative to promote equal employment opportunities and a diverse and inclusive workforce. Those selections were placed at the end of the third round.

The value of comp picks has increased because they can also be traded, an initiative the league implemented in 2017.

Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman and his staff now have a dozen picks to work with over seven rounds.

Here is a list all 12 of Minnesota's current 2021 draft picks:

First-Round Pick, 14th overall

Third-Round Pick

Third-Round Pick (from Ravens)

Fourth-Round Pick

Fourth-Round Pick (from Bears)

Fourth-Round Pick (from Bills)

Minnesota traded its second-round pick of 2021 (and a 2022 conditional pick) to Jacksonville for Yannick Ngakoue before sending the defensive end to Baltimore for a 2021 third-round pick and 2022 conditional pick.
