According to stats on ProFootballReference.com, the 28-year-old has 62 career tackles (44 solo) with an interception, pair of forced fumbles and a tackle for loss.

He also has one career touchdown, returning a blocked field goal 63 yards for a score in 2017 when he was with the Titans.

Smith, a North Carolina native, has made a few stops in his NFL career thus far.

Smith began his career with Seattle and played in four games as a rookie. He didn't make the Seahawks 53-man roster at the end of training camp in 2016 but spent a few weeks on Seattle's practice squad. He spent the rest of the 2016 season on Washington's practice squad.

Smith then landed with the Titans in 2017, playing in 15 games with one start. He missed the entire 2018 season due to an injury but rebounded to play nine games with three starts in 2019.

He then played in 12 games for Tennessee in 2020 but missed the final month of the season with an injury.
