March 21, 2019 - Alliance of American Football (AAF) News Release

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Following a competitive week six that tightened the race for playoff positioning, The Alliance of American Football enters week seven with even more on the line.

Week seven gets underway on Saturday afternoon when The Atlanta Legends (2-4) welcome The Orlando Apollos (5-1) to Georgia State Stadium at 2:00 PM ET on TNT. The Apollos look to bounce back from their first loss of the season in week six, while The Legends, who have won two of their past three, attempt to build on the momentum they've created since inserting QB Aaron Murray into the starting lineup.

On Saturday night at 8:00 PM ET on NFL Network, The Salt Lake Stallions (2-4) travel to San Antonio's Alamodome to face the streaking Commanders (4-2). The Commanders, who hold a one-game edge in the Western Conference standings, have won three consecutive games and look to keep their streak alive as they play in front of their home fans at the Alamodome for the first time since week two.

The weekend continues on Sunday at 4:00 PM ET on CBS Sports Network as The San Diego Fleet (3-3) and The Arizona Hotshots (3-3) meet at Sun Devil Stadium in a game rife with playoff implications. Tied for second place in the Western Conference, The Fleet seek to rebound from a last-second loss to The Iron last week while The Hotshots come fresh off of their biggest win of the season, knocking off the previously-undefeated Apollos in week six.

Week seven concludes in primetime on NFL Network on Sunday night as The Birmingham Iron (4-2) visit The Memphis Express (1-5) at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium at 8:00 PM ET. The Iron look to keep the momentum going following last week's exhilarating win in which K Nick Novak converted a 44-yard game-winning field goal as time expired to give Birmingham a 32-29 victory. The Express welcomed their new signing, former Heisman-winning QB Johnny Manziel earlier in the week as they look to turn things around down the stretch and improve upon their 1-1 record at home.
